Tadabbur Privacy Policy

Updated October 17, 2026

Developer: mohamed taha. Privacy and support contact: mohamed.taha.8362@gmail.com.

Local storage

No account is required. Preferences, favorites, bookmarks, reading position, completion plans, reminder settings and downloaded recordings are stored on your device. This release has no developer-operated synchronization server, advertising or chatbot.

Location and voice search

With your permission, location is used for Qibla and prayer times. Coordinates may be stored for offline use and sent to AlAdhan for prayer times and to the device geocoding service for place names. Manual city selection sends city, country and calculation method instead. Background location permission is not requested. Qibla calculation itself is local.

Optional voice search invokes the device speech-recognition service, which may process microphone audio remotely under its provider’s policies and your device settings. The developer does not operate a voice-recording storage server. Text search remains available.

External services

Content and prayer requests may reach Al Quran Cloud, MP3Quran, AlAdhan and associated media hosts. Providers may receive your IP address, requested content, request metadata and coordinates where applicable. Their processing and retention are governed by their own policies. We do not claim that all external processing is ephemeral.

Notifications, control and deletion

Notification and exact-alarm permissions support the alerts you enable. Background audio services support playback and adhan. An optional battery-optimization exemption may be requested for reminder reliability; it can be declined or revoked. Local data remains until you delete it, clear app storage or uninstall. Downloads can be deleted in the app. Permissions can be withdrawn in device settings. External-provider deletion is subject to their policies. Contact us for privacy questions without sending passwords or secret keys.

Security and changes

We use platform mechanisms to protect app data and connections, but cannot guarantee absolute security. This policy may change when features or data practices change; the date above will be updated.
